Getting Around Dubai

METRO: There are two metro lines in Dubai: red and green. The Red line runs from the airport to nearby Cheval Maison – The Palm Dubai, but you will need to take a taxi to complete your journey from Dubai Internet City Metro Station 2. Visitors intending to make frequent use of public transport in Dubai should purchase a Nol card which they can use to pay for any journey around the city, including on the monorail.

MONORAIL: Immediately behind the property is a stop on the Dubai monorail which currently runs the length of the Palm Jumeirah. The monorail is useful for visiting attractions on the Palm itself.

TAXIS: Taxis are reasonably plentiful in Dubai and a common way of getting around the city, particularly when it’s too hot to walk particularly far. You can pre-book (for which a booking fee is added to the fare) or simply hail one in the street. Taxis are metered and pricing is transparent.
